Vibration dampening

Vibrations which develop during the machining process are reduced with the SINO-T expansion technology.

Advantages:

		Reduces chipping of tool cutting edges
		Smooth running and spindle life of the machine are improved
		Surfaces of the workpiece are improved dramatically

An example from the practice

This example shows clearly why vibration dampening is an important factor. The tests were made with equal process parameters.

Picture 1 is showing the workpiece surface machined with a ER collet style holder. The tool life of the cutting tool is 150 m.

Picture 2 is showing the workpiece surface machined with a SINO universal toolholder. The tool life as well as the surface quality increased by 100 %. Furthermore the spindle of the machine is protected.

Radial rigidity

Very high radial forces can be applied to the SINO-R due to the very robust design. These particularly occur during heavy-duty cutting.

Tools are changed within seconds

With the SINO "C" spanner, you can replace tools quickly and safely, at the speed of light.
Simply position the "C" spanner on the retention bore and tighten as far as the stop.

The brilliant solution: SINO clamp - the spanner wrench with ratcheting convenience to clamp SINO universal toolholders quickly and comfortably. SINOclamp is used on the outside diameter of the actuation cap hence reducing the wear of the actuation cap and especially the retention bore.

High clamping force

The solid body pressure medium produces a clamping force that acts uniformly all over the surface onto the tool shank. The tool is centrically clamped with superior torques up to 850 Nm. (Tool shank Ø 32.0/ quality h6)

Everything is clamped

Tools can be clamped direct or with an intermediate sleeve , including tools with a flat on the shank (e.g. Weldon holders).

Clamping diameter is flexible thanks to intermediate sleeves

Thanks to the use of various intermediate sleeves, a SINO-R Universal Toolholder can cover a clamping range from 3 - 16 mm. Available with or without peripheral cooling.

Precision-balanced as standard

SINO, like every SCHUNK toolholder, is precision-balanced as standard.

Advantages:

		Reduction of machining noise - guaranteed
		Preservation of the machine spindle (balance quality G 6.3 at 15000 rpm, HSK-A 63 + 100, SK 40 + 50, JIS-BT 40 + 50, CAT 40). Applies for SINO universal toolholders from stock on items manufactured after 06/30/2007.
		High speed machining capability with speeds of up to 40000 rpm possible

ACURO - Balancing system

Axial length adjustment precise to the µ (± 0.005 mm)

The axial length adjustment screw allows to preset the length with an accuracy of ±0.005 mm. This means high process safety especially on multi spindle machines.
